Nourish a Family: Food Vouchers

No family should go hungry. We offer grocery vouchers to single parents in the Portland metro area to ensure nutritious meals.

More Than Just a Meal

For a single parent, grocery shopping often involves painful math. Will there be enough for fresh vegetables? Can we afford meat this week?

We know that many parents skip meals so their children can eat. This invisible hunger creates stress and impacts health. We believe every parent deserves the dignity of choosing nutritious food for their family without panic.

"The Tolú Foundation was born from lived experience. We understand the quiet struggle of an empty fridge. We provide immediate relief so you can focus on your family, not your hunger."

Dignified Grocery Support

We provide food vouchers for single parents that work just like gift cards. This allows you to shop at local stores (like Fred Meyer, Safeway, or WinCo) for the specific dietary needs of your children.

Our Approach:

Note: We are not a food bank. We provide the financial means for you to shop for yourself with dignity.

Do You Need Food Assistance?

If you are a single parent struggling to put food on the table this week, we invite you to apply for our grocery voucher program.

1

A Heartbreaking Decision

Recently, the demand from single-parent families needing emergency support has surged far beyond our current resources. Because of this, we have had to make the difficult decision to temporarily pause accepting new requests for help.

We cannot do this alone. We urgently need funding and material donations to reopen our doors to those in crisis. Every little bit helps.
